I work with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, or trauma symptoms that might stem from perfectionism, low self-confidence, identity issues, life transitions, relationship difficulties, traumatic life events, or a variety of other factors. I specialize in individual therapy with young adults, though I have worked with adults of all ages.
I deeply value the therapeutic relationship as an agent for change. Thus, as your therapist, I will work with you to establish a warm and affirming rapport to help you process your emotions and experiences, develop coping skills, connect with core values and strengths, and challenge unhelpful or unwanted patterns and habits. My intention is to support you in developing the tools and self-confidence you need to reach your wellness goals and live a more meaningful and fulfilling life.
During our initial sessions I will assess your current needs and collaborate with you to identify treatment goals to address your symptoms and help you get your life back on track. I work to tailor my approach to your unique concerns, strengths, and goals while also working to see and affirm your culture, values, and intersecting identities.
I integrate evidence-based frameworks including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Existential-Humanistic, Psychodynamic, and Mindfulness-Based/Somatic approaches. I also specialize in working with adjustment and identity concerns in young adults and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) treatment for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD).
If you have any questions about my approach, please reach out to me.
